It's Official

It is official Colby has survived the last phase of the Genola hazing. I have to say Colby had to get used to the idea of living in Genola. We moved to Genola after we got married and he couldn't figure out why we were moving to a place that does not have cell service, internet and warnings when the well water is getting low. We couldn't do much about the cell service but we have a land line and we were also able to get internet but the well water..there isnt much I can do about that. The last phase of his excitement was experiencing Genola Days. It began with a parade in the morning. My cousin Rylee was the parade because she was Miss Genola 2008 so I thought it would be fun to go to the parade. This is not a normal parade..when they go by once they turn around and come back by so you get double the excitement. After the parade was over we finished our errands for the day and then returned to Genola to watch the fireworks. Although Genola is a small town they have an exceptionally good firework show. We watched the fireworks at my aunt and uncles house. My cousin Kory talked Colby into going up the scissor lift about 30 feet in the air to watch the fireworks. It was all quite exciting. I think Genola is starting to grow on Colby haha...

It was getting late for Grandma and Grandpa. They didn't know if they would last until the fireworks started but they were troopers and stayed for all the fireworks.
